The on departure pep rally for students who will have a 3-month overseas studying in VIU were held on February 16 in No.311 meeting room, attended by Zuo Jian’e, the Vice Dean of School of Environment, Liu Jianguo, the deputy secretary of the party committee in School of Environment and Yue Dongbei, the Program Director. 

Students and teachers were holding a departure pep rally.

 Yue Dongbei, the program director, introduced the basic information of VIU, overseas studying targets, precautions and disciplines, named 3 class committee members to take charge of the comprehensive class matters, studies and safeties respectively as well as announced the weekly reporting system. He emphasized that the students should pay attention to their personal safeties, follow VIU disciplines, enhance communication skills with teachers and classmates from other countries, unite together and supervise each other to obtain mutual progress, win honor for Tsinghua University and set examples for younger brothers and sisters

Zuo Jian’e and Liu Jianguo also shared their overseas studying experiences with the students and set high expectations on the students, hoping the students to open themselves to make mistakes and learn from setbacks and defeats as well as wishing them have fruitful results.
