Stephen A. Schwarzman is chairman, CEO and co-founder of Blackstone, one of the world's leading investment companies with USD538 billion of assets under management. He is an active philanthropist with a history of supporting education, culture, and the arts, among other things. In 2013, he founded “Schwarzman Scholars,” an international scholarship program at Tsinghua University to educate future leaders about China. At over USD575 million, the program is the single largest philanthropic effort in China’s history coming largely from international donors. He is the author of the New York Times’ bestseller ‘What It Takes: Lessons in the Pursuit of Excellence’.
Dr. Min Zhu

Dr. Min Zhu is currently Chairman of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the World Economic Forum. Dr. Zhu was Deputy Managing Director at IMF from July 2011 to July 2016. Before that, he served as Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China. Prior to his service at China’s central bank, he worked as Group Executive Vice President in Bank of China. Dr. Zhu also worked at the World Bank and taught economics at both Johns Hopkins University and Fudan University.
