Professor Arild Underdal, Rector of the University of Oslo, visited Tsinghua September 20. Tsinghua Vice President Xie Weihe met and had a talk with Professor Underdal.

Vice President Xie and Professor Underdal each gave general introduction of their respective universities, and discussed possibilities for cooperation between the two schools.

Founded in 1811, the University of Oslo is the biggest university in Norway. Four researchers at the University of Oslo have won Nobel Prizes for their research.
