Tsinghua student Hu Kai, who is studying economics and management, took the gold in the men’s 100-meter track and field event in the 23rd World University Games held in Turkey on August 16.

His winning time was 10.3 seconds.

This was the first gold medal won by a Chinese delegation in men's 100-meter track and field event in the World University Games.
