A delegation of representatives from 13 French universities paid a visit to Tsinghua University on October 25. Professor Hu Dongcheng, Vice Chairperson of Tsinghua University Council, met with the French guests.

Professor Hu gave an overview of Tsinghua University . He said he hoped more collaboration could be built between Tsinghua and French universities. After the talk, the guests visited Tsinghua-Foxconn Nanotechnology Research Center .

The delegates in the group were from many top universities including ENS Paris, L'Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Université Paris V René Descartes, and Université Paris XII - Val de Marne. They took part in the higher education exhibition held from Oct. 23 to 24 in Beijing . More than 150 universities in France participated in the event.
