Dr. John Hood, Vice Chancellor of University of Auckland, visited Tsinghua and singed an academic cooperation contract on June 11th.

Professor GU Binglin, Member of Chinese Academy of Science, President of Tsinghua University met the honorable guests from New Zealand. Both sides discussed the cooperation in the future and exchanged experiences on the development to world-class university.

After the signing ceremony, Dr. John Hood made a visit to the School of Public Management and Administration.

Dr John Hood became Vice-Chancellor of the University of Auckland in February 1999, and he will be be the next Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University.
