Carly Fiorina, chairman and CEO of HP Corporation, addressed a crowd of more than 300 faculty and students in the Main Building on March 11, encouraging Tsinghua students to brave the challenges and embrace the opportunities of the coming digital revolution.

In her speech, Ms. Fiorina spoke highly of China’s economic development, especially in the IT field. She also presented a comprehensive view of China’s digital market and its enormous potential.

Ms. Fiorina was warmly welcomed to campus by Zhuang Lijun, vice director of the University Council, and had a brief talk with President Gu Binglin on the cooperation between Tsinghua University and HP Corporation.

Several officers of HP Corporation accompanied Ms. Fiorina on her trip to China.
