On Oct 30, the 18th "Challenge Cup" National College Student Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition concluded at Guizhou University. The team from Tsinghua University achieved a remarkable feat with six projects in the finals, winning three top prizes, two first prizes, and one second prize. In the special "Leaderboard Challenge" competition, one project claimed the "Champion" title, two projects secured first prizes, and another project earned third prize. For their outstanding performance, Tsinghua University was honored with the "Excellence Cup".

This year's "Challenge Cup" attracted over 2 million students from more than 2,000 universities across the country. The competition comprised a total of 10 academic categories, including Mechanical and Control, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Energy and Chemical Engineering, Mathematics and Physics, Development Achievements, Civilization and Culture, Beautiful China, People's Well-being, and Governance in China.
