The 11th World Peace Forum will be held at Tsinghua University from July 1 to 3. With the theme of "stabilizing an unstable world through consensus and cooperation," participants at this year's forum will discuss how countries can foster new cooperation amid anti-globalization forces and make efforts to restore a stable international order and uphold world peace. The forum aims to gather diverse perspectives, engage in discussions, analyze the international landscape, and provide relevant recommendations.
Four plenary sessions and 19 panel discussions will be held including a joint panel.
The World Peace Forum, founded in 2012, is a non-governmental annual forum on international security hosted by Tsinghua University and co-organized by the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs. It has conducted 10 in-person conferences. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it held a special video conference.
